We Bring Nature Indoors — and Keep Screens Out

If you’re like most caregivers, you’ve become accustomed to toys made from manufactured, man-made materials such as plastic. We have, too — and while we love our old favorites, we also believe toys made from natural materials such as wood, felt and silk are a more modern approach to playtime. You’ll appreciate how our child care centers put a strong focus on nature and natural materials. That’s why we make outdoor play a central part of our unique curriculum — a curriculum we designed ourselves because the off-the-shelf options weren’t good enough.

Another aspect of our child care center curriculum we love is our no-screens policy. We’ve eliminated television — including VCR and DVD players — from each and every one of our classrooms. That’s because screens don’t allow your child the opportunity to touch, taste or engage in a real experience.

Instead, at Aa to Zz, our teachers spend their days connected with your child and enriching the child care experience with fun and age-appropriate activities. Visit our child care centers and you’ll find spacious classrooms filled with blocks, climbing lofts, books, sand and water tables as well as other fun toys that provide your child with a valuable — and rewarding — experience.
