AA TO ZZ AT A SENATORS' GAME

On Wed. Aug. 25th, Aa to Zz Child Care and Learning Center threw out the first pitch at the Harrisburg Senators' home game!
Michele Rankin and Ron Troxell from our Schaffner Dr. center in West Hanover Twp. were the lucky pitchers.
Their names and Aa to Zz's name were announced over the loud speakers.
Staff, kids, and parents in attendance got to run out and stand with a player during the national anthem and some of the kids in attendance got to take part in the hot dog race.
The food was great and we got to see our name in lights!
Aa to Zz thanks everyone who came out for this event and thanks the Harrisburg Senators for a great night!

Into our world precious newborns will come,
Their loved ones in awe of just where they've come from.
But once these new lives have established their place,
'Tis time to acknowledge life's less joyous face.

How daunting can be the cold challenge of life,
Uncertainty, sadness, and financial strife.
The answer to these troubling times, don't forget,
Is to lean on each other when balance gets upset.

Our troubles dissolve as good friends bring the light,
The sunshine floods in and the nighttime takes flight.
Once more comes the time when the children are blessed,
With the wonder and curious deeds of their quest.

Consider the richness that shapes who they'll be,
Just try to imagine all they'll hear and see,
Isn't it grand then, to know and to say,
That your child learns in an Aa to Zz way!

Ms. Yvonne,

I just wanted to let you know that when I had my conference with Ms. Aurelia this morning, she made a comment that [my son] has made such an improvement and that we (Mike and I) should "keep doing what we are doing."  Well, as a parent I hate to admit it but we really haven't been doing much with [my son] at home as far as his letters and numbers........it is ALL her!  She has done such a great job with [my son] and we appreciate her hard work so much!!  We are confident that she has prepared [my son] for kindergarten and we are not worried about his ability to thrive in his new school setting!  THANK YOU MS. AURELIA!!!!
